So, I wonder who this Binder is and what the Blue Ribbons could have done to her to turn her so vengeful! I guess we'll find out soon enough though now that Court is one of them. Really suspenseful read, Cathy!

Very happy to read your comments. Laura. Please feel free to 'stop by' anytime. As far as the avatar goes it was a struggle for various reasons and Mirage was the one most responsible. I don't know who the girl with the flashlight is. It's from photobucket and I merely typed in NANCY DREW and this was one of the images. Nothing magic about an avatar now that I know how to do it.

First I want to correct something I inadventantly implied. I was talking about how difficult it was to have an avatar and said "Mirage was the one most responsible". Gulp!! I meant to say Mirage was the one most responsible for my finally having a avatar. She certainly wasn't to blame for the difficulties. Sorry Mirage for accidently implying that. You're my hero.

(this is a chapter 11 revision of sorts)

"Courtney retreats to her room to put on her jogging clothes. Normally the wardrobe consists of her blue spandix volleyball shorts and a gray singlet top. All joggers know that you dress as if it was twenty degrees warmer since even on cool days once you get going the body heats up very rapidly. But there was a cooler than normal east wind so Courtney opted for a powder blue, Under Armour top. It was long sleeved top with gray stripes down the sleeves and the SMOG mascot's head, the gray fox at the left breast. Many times she wore looser fitting shorts for greater leg freedom but the warmth of the spandex won out so she pulled them on and out the door she went."

I suppose some may wonder why the above addition. Just cause *giggle*. By the way I do run, just like Courtney. Rather proud of my 4 marathons and many, many 10Ks. Please allow me that little bit of vanity
