I'm near St Louis (Rams 0-5) so I know how you feel.

Week 6 at a glance..

The Vikings had it easy up to this point but now they're going up against Baltimore's Ravens and their much vaunted (and heavily penalized) D-line..

Once again, two unbeaten teams meet on the field, but only one will still be..either the Saints or the Giants. Going to be very hard to decide who to root for down here, especially considering who's QB'ing for the latter..

Any other games you're keeping your eyes on?

Week 6 updates..

Ravens came oh-so-close to beating the Vikings in the last few seconds of the game. But they missed the field goal. Oh, well..

The Saints meantime pretty much dominated Eli Manning and the NY Giants. Their vaunted d-line couldn't stop the Saints' offensive line..much less slow them down.

Meanwhile, up in Foxborogh, the Pats are going against the Titans in weather as ugly as the the latter's throwback uniforms..even the refs' uniforms aren't much to look at..

Week 6 updates pt. 2

The Patriots shut out the Titans...hard to tell which was uglier, the weather, the Titans' throwback uniforms, or the game itself. (Depending on who you're rooting for, of course.)

In fact, the network switched to the Jets/Bills game. The latter won in overtime, but not before a lot of back-and-forth..

Now it's the Bears in Atlanta, and on Monday Night the Broncos head to San Diego..

Sorry...I forgot to report the last week games.. Embarassed

Chicago won out over Atlanta..and the Broncos remain unbeaten..

Now on to Week 7 ..

Vikings head to Steel Town..and as much as I hate to admit this, Farve's luck will probably run out..

New England and Tampa Bay head to merry ol' London for the annual NFL game there..

Saints head to Miami to keep their unbeaten status alive..

The Giants face Arizona at home..but since game 6 of the AL Championship was postponed last night on acct. of rain it will be played tonight so, it's gonna be interesting to see if either Yankees or Giants Stadium will be at full capacity..

The Monday Night Nightcap is Philadelphia heading to DC..

Hell yeah Giants! When the Cowboys aren't taking names, I'm rootin' for the home team!

Man, I'm weird.

Thanks for the heads up as always, Cresent! Very Happy

Should be a good game.

I'm pulling for the Cardinals. They have a chance to win any game they play.... if they show up. That is the question. Which Cardinal team will show up?

As expected, Farve's luck finally ran out today; in the 2nd half two interceptions were run back for TDs, the second one the straw that broke the Vikings' back..

As if that's not enough, they have to go to Lambau Field next week..Shocked

Next up, the Cowboys against the Falcons, the Saints against the Dolphins, and the Bears head to Cincinnati...

Shame about Farve, though I'm sure we all saw that one coming.

And now it's the Cowboys' time to shine, hell yeah!

Yeah, I admit I was expecting it, but it was the way that it played out that made it worse..two interceptions returned for TDs..

Oh, well..

That was awesome to see them playing in England. And go Patriots! They're my pick this year, just like every year.

Rams lost to the Colts as well. They do play the Lions next week, so there's hope for a win then.

Week 8 at a glance..

As mentioned earlier, the Vikings head to Lambau Field..and you can bet the Packers are looking for some payback for the last time they met, especially the fans..

And they're not the only rivals playing against each other this week..the Dolphins go to NY to face the Jets.

The Saints face their conference rivals Atlanta in the Superdome Monday Night..

While Jacksonville faces 0-7 Tennessee..

Speaking of losing teams, St. Louis heads to the Motor City..

Meantime for you baseball fans, the Yankees & the Phillies won one game apiece, which means there will be a game 5 on Monday Night regardless of who wins the next two tonight & tomorrow. No NFL game on the latter, BTW.

P.S. I forgot to mention...the Giants head to Philly to face their division rivals, the Eagles.

Week 8 updates..

St Louis finally won one against Detroit..

Baltimore hands the Broncs their first loss of the season..

Colts claw their way back from behind to win against the 49ers..

Giants fall to the Eagles..which the Philles may interpret as as sign in Game 4 against the Yankees..

The Jets fared no better against Miami..

Minnesota/Green Bay has just started..

More week 8 updates..

The Vikings braved the boo-birds and more to win in Lambau Field & sweep their main rivals..

Tennessee finally get a win over their rival Jacksonville..

The Chargers run over the Raiders..

Carolina wins in Arizona..

Since Game 4 of the World Series is tonight, there's no Sunday Night game, so the only game left is the Monday Night showdown between the Saints & the Falcons..and so is game 5 of the World Series..

Yeah, last I checked, the Yankees were winning over Philly while the Giants were getting pummeled by them. What a switcharoo. And man, I can't stand the Yankees.

Well, I have good news & bad news..

The good news, the Phillies won game 5 forcing at least one more game; the bad news, it's gonna be in Yankee Stadium. Sad

And the Saints remain unbeaten along with the Colts.. Smile

Gah. Freakin' Yankees.

Ah, well. I hate the Phillies, too. I'm in a no-win situation here.

Week 9 at-a-glance..

Before I begin, as Orpheus mentioned, the Yanks won the World Series. Though not unexpected, it is depressing all the same..

Now on to week 9..

Not much to say this week, especially since several teams are taking the week off.

Still, among the most notable:

Miami faces New England in Foxborough..

Indianapolis faces a re-surging Houston..

New Orleans goes against div. rival Carolina in the Dome..

The Giants head to San Fransisco..

Arizona faces "da Bears" on Soldier Field..

Dallas heads to Philly to take on their div. rival in the Sunday Night game..

And the following evening, the Steelers head to Mile High..

Week 9 updates..

Colts and Saints remain unbeaten, though they had to work for it..

Tampa Bay finally chalks a win, and in their own throwback uniforms, no less..

Oh and I was wrong about the Giants game, they faced San Diego at home..and lost by one point.. Embarassed

Arizona upset "da Bears"..

Miami almost pulled an upset, but as someone else once said, almost only counts in horseshoes..

Dallas has just scored the first TD in Philly, more later..I hope.. Rolling Eyes
