Slashes and Quotes Problem...Again!

After updating my signature blurb this morning, the dreaded slashes appeared instead of quotes again. I'm not sure why that occured, but it also seems to have affected others who had sigs with quotes as well as any regular postings, if messages from today are any indication.

I think there is a way to successfully eliminate this without having to resort to disabling the HTML box every time you send a message. Below is copied from the user's profile, which everyone has. You must update your profile and disable HTML by checking the "NO" box on the line I've highlighted in yellow, then save your changes. This should correct the issue.

Supposedly, Forumer technical support has solved this issue. If you post a comment or story and the quote problem reappears, just follow the directions given in my original posting to solve it.
